Digital Library and Archives: The Organization is continuing the process of fully implementing the Preservation Assessment recommendations with respect to its Digital Library and Archives. Since 2021, the Organization has hired archivists as Collections Manager to assess, organize and manage the Digital Library and Archives. In addition, other qualified archivists have been contracted to convert its Archives and Collections into a digital format for greater public access.

Five Chinatowns Project: A research project that documents communities in Los Angeles that were central to the lives of Chinese American residents of the city during the period of Chinese American exclusion and restriction. These communities emerged as part of the multi-ethnic core of the city in the period between 1882 and 1965. Student interns were engaged in the Summer of 2022 to conduct oral history interviews, research newspapers, census manuscripts, city directories as well as review private family collections. The results of the project will be jointly published book with the UCLA Asian American Studies Program.

Outreach and Speaker Programs: The Organization continues to host its own monthly speaker program on Zoom as well as co-hosting dinner programs with China Society on topics related to Chinese American history and culture. This outreach also extends to working and partnering with other organizations and educational institutions on projects and exhibitions consistent with the mission to promote Chinese American history to the public.
