AS THE LIBRARY HAS EXPANDED ITS TRADITIONAL ROLE AND RESOURCES TO MEET TODAY'S CRUCIAL NEEDS, OFFERING FREE ACCESS - TO LEARNING, A SAFE PLACE,THE INTERNET, SOCIAL SERVICES, AND MORE - THE FOUNDATION HAS LIKEWISE EXPANDED ITS ROLE. THE FOUNDATION ENDEAVORS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND DEVELOP STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS THAT LEVERAGE PUBLIC FUNDS AND HELP FILL THE GAP BETWEEN PUBLIC FUNDING AND WHAT LIBRARY SERVICES COST.
