HOPECORE'S PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM PROVIDES HEALTH EDUCATION, DISEASE PREVENTION, AND HEALTH PROMOTION TO OVER 425,000 PEOPLE ACROSS 1,744 VILLAGES IN THARAKA NITHI COUNTY. THROUGH ACCESSIBLE CLINICAL SERVICES, WE EMPOWER COMMUNITIES TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR HEALTH, REDUCING HEALTH-RELATED DISPARITIES. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2024 INCLUDED EXPANDED SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES TO 13,481 STUDENTS IN THARAKA SOUTH SUB-COUNTY, CONDUCTED MASS VISION SCREENINGS FOR 15,110 STUDENTS IN IGAMBANG'OMBE SUB-COUNTY, CONDUCTED 6 COMMUNITY HEALTH PROMOTER (CHP) TRAINING CAMPAIGNS, AND LAUNCHED THE "EMBRACE HER CYCLE" CAMPAIGN. BY THE END OF 2024, WE HAD RAISED FUNDS TO SUPPORT 1,519 UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL GIRLS WITH SANITARY TOWELS.

HOPECORE'S MICRO ENTERPRISE PROGRAM HAS BEEN A PILLAR OF ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT IN THARAKA NITHI COUNTY AND BEYOND FOR OVER TWO DECADES. SINCE ITS LAUNCH IN 2000, THE PROGRAM HAS EQUIPPED ENTREPRENEURS WITH LOANS, BUSINESS TRAINING, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HELPING DAIRY FARMERS, TEA FARMERS, AND TRADERS ESTABLISH AND EXPAND THEIR BUSINESSES. SINCE INCEPTION, THE PROGRAM HAS DISBURSED OVER KSH. 227 MILLION ($2.2 MILLION) TO 472 GROUPS, SUPPORTING 5,354 ENTREPRENEURS AND STRENGTHENED LOCAL ECONOMIES BY DIRECTLY PROVIDING LOANS AND INDIRECTLY IMPACTING APPROXIMATELY 40,000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
