KITTEN FOSTER AND DOG FOSTER PROGRAM Established in response to the overwhelming homeless kitten population in the Burbank area. Throughout the year, the shelter receives hundreds of kittens less than eight weeks old. Volunteers house kittens and provide essential care, feeding, socialization with humans and other animals and medical care. Established in response to homeless dogs within the city of Burbank arriving without a mother to care for them. Throughout the year, the shelter can receive dozens of dogs as well as puppies less than eight weeks old..
