Description of organization mission The primary purpose of the organization is to promote the interactive digital software arts and sciences industry within the meaning of the IRC Section 501c6, and within such limits, to 1. Recognize outstanding achievement in the interactive arts and sciences. 2. Promote and advance the common interests of the members of the industry. 3. Conduct an interactive arts and sciences awards show that enhances the image of the industry with the public and acknowledges achievement in the industry.

Program 1

Annual presentation of interactive awards Interactive Achievement Award recipients are determined by a vote of qualified academy members. As such, selection as an Interactive Academy award finalist or recipient represents the strongest possible peer recognition. No person may become a voting member of the academy unless he or she can demostrate a threshold level of experience and professional credits in the industry. Interactive Acaemy voting is secret, conducted on-line, and supervised and certified by our partners at an independent voting organization. The integrity of the system, coupled with the broad-based voting population of academy members, make the Interactive Achievement Awards the most credible, respected and recognized awards for interactive entertainment software.

Expenses: $1,335,175

Presentation of the annual Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain D.I.C.E. Summit, an annual conference to futher enhance awareness of the orgnaizations vision and offer educational opportunities to explore approaches to the creative process and artistic expression as they uniquely apply to the development of interactive entertainment.
