GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING (GAM): GAM STANDS FOR GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING AND IT IS TPF'S MAIN PROGRAM AND AND EVENT. THE TPF GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETS ANNUALLY AT A VENUE AND ON A DATE PROPOSED AND APPROVED BY MEMBERS. THE VENUE CHANGES EVERY YEAR SO THAT EACH MEMBER IS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF HOSTING A GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING IN THEIR COUNTRY. IN 2023, THE TPF GAM FINALLY HAPPENED PHYSICALLY, WHICH HAD NOT BEEN POSSIBLE BEFORE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC AND THE POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC INSTABILITY CREATED BY THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR. THE GAM IN 2023 TOOK PLACE IN SPAIN AND PROVIDED MEMBERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THEIR COUNTERPARTS FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD BOTH IN-GROUP MEETINGS AND IN ONE-TO-ONE MEETINGS. THE ULTIMATE PURPOSES OF THE GAM ARE TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS, DISCUSS THE CURRENT STATE OF THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM, STRATEGIZE METHODS TO BETTER SERVE MEMBERS' MUTUAL CLIENTS, DEVELOP BUSINESS TOGETHER AND MAKE JOINT DECISIONS ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE ASSOCIATION. ALL THIS WAS DONE SUCCESSFULLY.IN RECENT YEARS, THIS MEETING HAS BEEN USED AS A RECRUITMENT TOOL AS WELL. COMPANIES THAT COULD BECOME MEMBERS OF OUR NETWORK ARE INVITED TO JOIN US AT THE GAM SO THAT THEY CAN GET TO KNOW THE MEMBERS PERSONALLY AND SEE HOW WE WORK TOGETHER. THIS HAS PROVEN A SUCCESSFUL WAY OF RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS AND OF KEEPING MEMBERSHIP SATISFIED.THE MINUTES OF THE GAM ARE RECORDED AND DISTRIBUTED WITHIN THE PERIOD OF ONE MONTH AFTER THE EVENT. THESE MINUTES ARE KEPT IN AN APPROPRIATE REGISTER AT THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE.

Program 2

IN-HOUSE PROTECTION PROGRAMIN ORDER TO GUARANTEE MEMBER-TO-MEMBER PAYMENTS, TPF CREATED A FUND THAT WOULD PROVIDE FINANCIAL COVERAGE IN THE EVENT OF NON-PAYMENT BETWEEN TPF MEMBERS.
