AMONG THE FOUNDATION'S MAJOR INITIATIVES ARE: SUSTAINABILITY, THE INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION SAFETY INITIATIVE (INCLUDING PGA'S SET ETIQUETTE TRAININGS AND HARASSMENT PREVENTION WORKSHOPS), AND SUPPORT FOR EMERGING PRODUCERS THROUGH THE DEBRA HILL FELLOWSHIP AND VARIOUS DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION INITIATIVES.

PGA DEVELOPED IPSI, THE INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION SAFETY INITIATIVE, TO FUNDAMENTALLY GUIDE, AND BRING AWARENESS AND SUPPORT TO, HOW INDEPENDENT PRODUCTIONS DEAL WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND BULLYING ON AND OFF SETS. THROUGH THIS INITIATIVE, PGA OFFERS PREVENTATIVE SET ETIQUETTE TRAINING TO QUALIFYING U.S.-BASED INDEPENDENT PRODUCTIONS, AS WELL AS QUARTERLY HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING WORKSHOPS IN U.S. PRODUCTION HUBS TO ANYONE WORKING IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. THROUGH PGA'S SET ETIQUETTE TRAINING PROGRAM, ELIGIBLE INDEPENDENT PRODUCTIONS RECEIVE, AT NO COST, AN HOUR OF PROFESSIONAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING AND UP TO TWO HOURS OF FREE LEGAL CONSULTATION FROM OUTSIDE COUNSEL, AS WELL AS A CONTENT LIBRARY OF RELEVANT MATERIALS, INCLUDING A SAMPLE CODE OF CONDUCT, CHECKLISTS, AND RESOURCE GUIDES. PGA'S PROGRAM PROVIDES REAL AND MEANINGFUL ASSISTANCE TO INDEPENDENT PRODUCERS AND HELPS TO FOSTER CULTURAL CHANGE IN OUR INDUSTRY. THE PGA HAS BEEN EDUCATING PRODUCERS AND THE INDUSTRY REGARDING SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES FOR OVER FIFTEEN YEARS. PGA WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE INTER-GUILD AND UNION SUSTAINABILITY ALLIANCE, COMPRISED OF REPRESENTATIVES FROM A CROSS-SECTION OF UNIONS AND GUILDS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING FILM AND TELEVISION CONTENT, VR EXPERIENCES AND VIDEO GAMES, TO MAINTAIN ITS RESOURCES AND PROMOTE A DEEPER COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY INDUSTRY-WIDE. PGA ALSO HOSTS AND SUPPORTS A NUMBER OF SUSTAINABILITY NETWORKING AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND PANELS YEAR-ROUND. THE PGA'S DEBRA HILL FELLOWSHIP IS AWARDED ANNUALLY TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO AN ACCOMPLISHED UP AND COMING PRODUCER AS THEY EMBARK ON THEIR CAREER.
