The mission of the Friends of the Anaheim Public Library is to establish closer relations between the Anaheim Public Library and the residents of the community, to promote the knowledge of the functions, resources, services, and needs of the library, to foster the development of cultural programs for the community centered in the library, to enrich the library resources through funds derived from memberships and to encourage gifts of collections of books and other publications, works of art, music, endowments, and bequests for public use and enjoyment. We funded "Friends of the Library Garden" which is an outdoor space for children and adults. We helped fund the Native American Arts Festival at Founders ParkWe donated money towards Makerspace and recording studio at Haskett LibraryWe funded the "Lunch at the Library" program which provided free meals and books to community children.We hosted once a month special book sales.We funded summer and winter reading programs.We donated to the Anaheim Public Library Foundation's annual luncheon.
