Mission

ADVANCING YOUNG PEOPLE FROM POVERTY TO EMPOWERMENT IS THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF AAM FOUNDATION. THE SCHOOL'S PRIMARY CHARITABLE ACTIVITY IS EDUCATION AND ALLEVIATING POVERTY. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES FORMAL INSTRUCTION AND IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS WHO ATTEND. THE SCHOOL IS A ONE-YEAR INTENSIVE SECONDARY AND POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15 TO 27 YEARS OF AGE. THE CURRICULUM OF THE SCHOOL FOCUSES ON BUILDING SKILLS THAT WILL SUPPORT YOUTH IN SECURING STABLE EMPLOYMENT. THESE INCLUDE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS AND BASIC BUSINESS SKILLS. THE SCHOOL ALSO MAINTAINS A ROBUST MENTOR PROGRAM TO FURTHER SUPPORT THE SUCCESS OF ITS STUDENTS.
