IN THE WAKE OF THE DEVASTATING WILDFIRES THAT STRUCK MAUI IN AUGUST 2023. CAMERON CENTER ORGANIZED A GRAND TOTAL OF 8 EVENTS, EACH FILLED WITH HOPE AND SUPPORT, WHERE WE DISTRIBUTED OVER 1,200 COMPUTER DEVICES TO THOSE AFFECTED BY THE WILDFIRES. THESE DEVICES PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN FACILITATING THE PROCESSING OF FEMA PAPERWORK, UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS, INSURANCE MATTERS, AS WELL AS AIDING IN EDUCATION, HOUSING, AND EMPLOYMENT SEARCHES, ACCESSING SUPPORT SERVICES, AND MAINTAINING CONNECTIONS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THESE DEVICES NOT ONLY SERVED AS TOOLS FOR COMMUNICATION AND CONNECTIVITY BUT ALSO AS A SYMBOL OF RESILIENCE AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT. IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY, OUR COMMUNITY CAME TOGETHER, AND THROUGH THESE EVENTS, WE PROVIDED NOT JUST HARDWARE, BUT A RAY OF HOPE FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE. MAHALO TO OUR DONORS AND SUPPORTERS FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS
