NKFH IS A MAJOR ADVOCACY CHAMPION FOR PATIENTS AND HAS ESTABLISHED COUNCILS AND SUPPORT GROUPS AS A FORUM FOR THEIR INTERACTION. NKFH ALSO PROVIDES PATIENTS WITH MUCH NEEDED FUNDS FOR EMERGENCY NEEDS, MEDICAL ID JEWELRY AND HANDBOOKS. NKFH WILL MATCH UP PATIENT MENTORS WITH THOSE NEWLY DIAGNOSED, TO ENHANCE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT EFFORT IS TO PREVENT KIDNEY DISEASE AND ITS PROGRESSION IN THE FIRST PLACE.
