TO FOSTER A BROAD UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE OF PROFESSIONAL MORTGAGE BROKERING AS A SOURCE OF ALTERNATIVE FINANCING. 5. TO PROTECT THE MORTGAGE BROKERAGE INDUSTRY AND PUBLIC THROUGH LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS. 6. TO PROMOTE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND MORTGAGE BROKERING ETHICS. 7. TO PROMOTE A COOPERATIVE LIAISON WITH OTHER RELATED PROFESSIONAL GROUPS. 8. TO DO ANY AND ALL THINGS THAT ARE LAWFUL AND APPROPRIATE IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THESE PURPOSES.
