In 2025, The Hughes Family & Friends Foundation significantly expanded its impact throughout Utah by supporting children, families, schools, hospitals, and community organizations. The Foundation donated more than $210,000 in program support through several core initiatives. Through our Hospital Comfort Support program, we provided requested items to Primary Children's Hospital locations in Salt Lake City and Lehi. Through our Classroom & Teacher Support program, we fulfilled teacher wish lists for classrooms across multiple Utah schools. Through our Food & Nourishment Access program, we assisted families with grocery support following the loss of a loved one. We partnered with The Sharing Place to provide Grief & Family Holiday Support through holiday gift cards, family wish list fulfillment, and other assistance for grieving families. We also launched a new Direct Support Program to assist families experiencing acute financial hardship. The Foundation established its first office space in 2025 and continued building the infrastructure needed to increase its long-term impact on children and families throughout Utah.
