IN 2024, EMPACT ART KICKED OFF SIX PUBLIC ART PROJECTS AND SAW THE INSTALLATION AND COMPLETION OF FIVE OF THOSE PROJECTS, ENGAGING MORE THAN 3500 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS IN THE CREATION OF THESE PROJECTS. EMPACT ART LAUNCHED A COMMUNITY NIGHT, WHERE IT WELCOMES PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, ABILITIES AND BACKGROUND TO COME AND ENGAGE IN THE CO-CREATION OF THE PUBLIC ART AS WELL AS FORM STRONGER COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS. MARLOW HEIGHTS, A 40FT MOSAIC BENCH WAS CREATED FOR THE MARLOW HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CENTER. BAAM LIBRARY MOSAIC IS A 180 SQ. FT MIXED MEDIA MOSAIC WAS CREATED WITH OVER 700 COMMUNITY MEMBERS FOR THE BUILDING AFRICAN AMERICAN MINDS IN EASTON, MD. EMPACT ART PARTNERED WITH THE RAVENS AND M&T BANK FOR AN EARTH DAY EVENT IN THE SANDTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD OF BALTIMORE, MD. EMPACT ART PARTNERED WITH HEALTHY NEIGHBORS TO CREATE A MOSAIC FOR THEIR OFFICE.IN ADDITION TO THE PUBLIC ART WORKS, EMPACT ART LAUNCHED AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS AND PARTNERED WITH MICA TO HOST STUDENTS FROM BOTH THEIR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS. WE HOST INTERNS FROM TOWSON, UMD, UMBC, SEVENSON AND MSU. WE HAVE A PARTNERSHIP WITH MSU'S COMMUNITY ART PROGRAM AND TEACH A CLASS EACH SEMESTER WITH ONE OF THEIR PROFESSORS. WE HOST PAID AND UNPAID INTERNS AND HAVE CREDITED AND UNACCREDITED INTERNSHIPS.
