In November of 2024, we brought and hosted 25 Native Hawaiians from outside of Hawaii back to their ancestral homeland for a 10 day culturally immersive experience. We visited different what pans (sacred places), taught language, hula, her (string figures), ai Pono (healthy eating), laau lapaau (traditional medicines) and mookuauhau (genealogy). In addition, we have added free language resources to our website and have hosted 4 community workshops to teach ritual hula to the general community.
We have attending 4 AANHPI community events to promote and distribute our free online resources.
