IN 2025, RAINBOWS IN GASTRO WAS ABLE TO INITIATE MULTIPLE EVENTS, RESEARCH INITIATIVES, AND EDUCATIONAL CONTENT. OUR FLAGSHIP EVENT AT DIGESTIVE DISEASE WEEK IN SAN DIEGO, CA IN MAY 2025 WAS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 100 INDIVIDUALS. THIS WAS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS AND BOARD MEMBERS TO INTERFACE WITH ONE ANOTHER, AS WELL AS WITH OUR SPONSORS TO FURTHER DEVELOP CONNECTIONS FOR RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY PURPOSES. WE HELD A SIMILAR EVENT AT THE CONFERENCE FOR THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF GASTROENTEROLOGY IN PHOENIX, AZ IN OCTOBER 2025 THAT WAS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 75 INDIVIDUALS.

THE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING AN ONLINE MODULE LOOKING TO IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE OF ANAL CANCER SCREENING, AS WELL AS ANORECTAL SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS AND THEIR MANAGEMENT. THIS MODULE IS TO BE FORMALLY RELEASED IN 2026 WITH SUBSEQUENT ANALYSIS TO DETERMINE EFFECTIVENESS. ALONG WITH THIS, IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT RAINBOWS IN GASTRO BOARD MEMBERS AND GENERAL MEMBERS HAVE PUBLISHED NUMEROUS PAPERS IN 2025 IN MAJOR GASTROENTEROLOGY AND HEPATOLOGY JOURNALS.
