Rush Medical Group

Rush Medical Group (RMG) is a tax-exempt corporation within the Rush System for Health (RUSH) to consolidate academic and community-based providers. RUSH is a national leader in outstanding patient care, education, research, community partnerships and empowering a new generation of health care providers, which comprises Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital, Inc. (ROPH) and Rush University, as well as an extensive provider network and numerous outpatient care facilities. RMG is comprised of roughly 900 physicians and 350 advanced practice providers in more than 111 specialties and subspecialties spread across the Chicagoland area, which primarily includes clinical locations at the RUMC campus in Chicago, ROPH, and RCMC campus in Aurora. The singular focus of RMG is to provide transformational patient care to deliver the promotion and preservation of the health and well-being across our diverse communities. As part of RUSH, translational research is a core component of patient care. Providers are involved in hundreds of clinical studies to test the effectiveness and safety of new therapies and medical devices, as well as to expand scientific and medical knowledge. RMG has a strong partnership with Rush Medical College (RMC) as well as Graduate Medical Education to enhance the educational opportunity of these trainees. RMC has an acclaimed history as one of the first medical colleges in the Midwest and continues to make major contributions to medical science and education through research and clinical trials. The health centers offer highly selective residency and fellowship programs in medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. This unique practitioner-teacher model provides students the opportunity to learn from world-renowned instructors who practice what they teach.
