In July 2025, at the invitation of the students, Gonjang Labrang Center was honored to welcome H.H. Gonjang Rinpoche and Khenpo Thinley Dorjei of Chorten Drupkhang.A board of directors meeting was held in person at the center on July 15, 2025. Vice President Yong Jiang (Lama Kunsang Dorje) presented the centers achievements since its establishment in 2024, including ongoing renovations to better support study, retreat, and teaching activities. He also outlined a proposal for future goals and initiatives, seeking the continued support of H.H. Gonjang Rinpoche and Gonjang Monastery. H.H. Gonjang Rinpoche acknowledged the progress made, and the board members reached a consensus on key objectives for 2026.During this visit, Khenpo Thinley Dorjei continued the teachings on the Longchen Nyingthig Ngondro retreat practice, building upon the previous year's instruction. He provided detailed guidance on the retreat process, including mantra recitation, meditation techniques, and their respective timelines. The students expressed deep gratitude for this rare and invaluable opportunity.To conclude the visit, the center hosted a Dakini Tsog celebration on July 20th. The event was open to the public, welcoming practitioners and guests to join in the sacred offerings, chanting, and feast.
