THE ORGANIZATION WILL ACQUIRE AND OWN VARIOUS MULTIFAMILY COMMUNITIES WITH AN ANTICIPATED HOLDING PERIOD OF 10 YEARS FOR EACH COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION'S FIRST PROPERTY, ARCADIA GARDENS, WAS ACQUIRED IN MARCH OF 2024 AND INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 76 UNITS. CURRENTLY 74 OF 76 UNITS ARE OCCUPIED. ALL RESIDENTS WILL RENT HOUSING, AND THERE WILL BE NONE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. AFTER ACQUISITION OF A FACILITY, UP TO FIFTY PERCENT OF VACANT UNITS AT EACH HOUSING SITE WILL BE LEASED TO VETERANS AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS WHO HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE VA AND LOCAL HOUSING SYSTEM COUNTERPARTS IN THE COMMUNITY, AS INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY'S COORDINATED HOMELESSNESS RESPONSE SYSTEM OR ON ITS BY-NAME (HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS) LIST. UNIT AVAILABILITY WILL BE PROVIDED ON A WEEKLY OR BI-WEEKLY BASIS TO THE LOCAL VA AND/OR CONTINUUM OF CARE PARTNERS. THIS PROCESS IS FOLLOWED UNTIL A GIVEN PROPERTY REACHES AN UP-TO 50/50 MIX OF VETERANS AND OTHERS WHO HAVE RECENTLY EXITED HOMELESSNESS AND WORKFORCE AFFORDABLE UNITS.
