SANDEMA PROVIDES PHYSICIAN TRAUMA CALL COVERAGE SERVICES AT TWO OPERATED BY PALOMAR HEALTH, A CALIFORNIA LOCAL HEALTHCARE DISTRICT, INCLUDING A LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER, TO ENSURE RELIABLE ON-CALL COVERAGE TO THE HOSPITALS. THE SERVICES BENEFIT THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS THEY ENSURE THE LOCAL LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER IS RELIABLY COVERED. PALOMAR HEALTH CONTRACTS WITH PHMG FOR SUCH COVERAGE SERVICES, AND PHMG IN TURN CONTRACTS WITH SANDEMA TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES. THE COMPENSATION IS PASSED THROUGH FROM SANDEMA TO THE CONTRACTED PHYSICIANS WHO PROVIDE THE CALL COVERAGE SERVICES VIA CONTRACT WITH SANDEMA.
