State & District Support to Modernize Teaching and Learning Nevada Portrait of a Learner: The Center for the Future of Learning partnered with Nevadas Department of Education regional education agencies and local school districts to design and implement the Nevada Portrait of a Learner. This statewide framework redefines what student success looks like in a rapidly changing world-centering on competencies such as critical thinking collaboration civic identity and learner agency. CFL facilitated regional workshops supported pilot school sites in adapting the Portrait into practice and trained 100+ educators through capacity-building sessions.

The IAN Hub planning phase: CFL began development of the IAN Hub a next-generation learning and innovation space co-designed with youth and community members. During the reporting year the organization did early planning and feasibility work to establish the program in the 2025 Fiscal Year. This program aims to create a student union for the future of learning blending out-of-school learning mentorship and design thinking.
