DURING THE TAX YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATED ITS GENERAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO LOCAL CITY-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS. THE PROGRAM'S OBJECTIVE IS TO STRENGTHEN THE SOCIAL FABRIC AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE CITY BY FUNDING PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS CRITICAL COMMUNITY NEEDS, SUCH AS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, PUBLIC HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION AND PRESERVATION.ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT RECIPIENTS WERE SELECTED BASED ON DEMONSTRATED NEED, POTENTIAL COMMUNITY IMPACT, AND ALIGNMENT WITH THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.
