Empowerment Through Education: Mentorship Classes & Meetings, Community Connection / Gatherings, Healing Spaces, Mental Health Training. Our Mental Health and Trauma-Informed Care Mentorship program is dedicated to providing crucial support for young individuals who have experienced sexual abuse and other traumatic events. Through this initiative, we aim to prevent future harm and facilitate the healing and restoration process for these vulnerable youths. Our mentors are trained to offer specialized guidance, understanding, and resources to help participants navigate their trauma, build resilience, and regain a sense of control over their lives. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, we empower these young individuals to overcome their past experiences and move forward towards a brighter and healthier future. This fiscal year, we partnered with one school and 218 attendees participated in our community gatherings, workshops, and healing spaces. We facilitated seven mentorship meetings (classes), equipping girls with tools to set boundaries, build confidence, and embrace their worth. Seven mental health professionals volunteered with Dearly Beloved to provide trauma-informed care and resources, five volunteers were newly certified to provide youth mental health and crisis support and we facilitated nine community mental health referrals.

Hygiene and Wellness Initiatives: Our organization provides essential hygiene products, specifically focusing on sexual health and addressing period poverty within communities. By distributing these products, we aim to enhance health outcomes, particularly within schools and impoverished areas. Through our efforts, we strive to promote better hygiene practices and support individuals in need to lead healthier lives. During this fiscal year, 58 hygiene and wellness kits were distributed to girls and families in need.
