The Advanced Technology International Foundation is a public benefit corporation, and it is organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code to perform the functions of, or carry out the purposes of, ATI, and in this connection: (a) Extend the reach of ATI's impact by improving the quality of life in the state and local communities where ATI employees and partners are located. (b) Provide opportunities for under-represented populations, by supporting workforce development efforts that are important to the U.S. industrial base. (c) Enable the business, economic and social ecosystems that help influence positive and meaningful outcomes for stakeholders of Foundation programs and the public.
