DMOD ASPIRES TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE GENERAL COMMUNITY'S NEEDS BY PROVIDING A PLACE OF STUDY, MEDITATION AND WORSHIP FOR ANYONE WHO WISHES TO LEARN THE TENETS OF THE BUDDHA'S TEACHINGS AND PRACTICES ACCORDING TO THE TIBETAN BUDDHIST TRADITION. PROGRAMS FOR BEGINNERS AND MORE SEASONED PRACTITIONERS ARE PLANNED FOR, INCLUDING HOSTING WORKSHOPS, TEACHINGS, MEDITATION RETREATS AND EMPOWERMENTS LED BY BUDDHIST TEACHERS AND MASTERS. DMOD SEEKS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE SICK AND THOSE FACING END OF LIFE BY WAY OF PASTORAL CARE OFFERED THROUGH CHAPLAINCY AND VOLUNTEERS.
