THROUGH HARNESSING ATLANTA'S LEGACY AND GALVANIZING THE CORPORATE, FAITH-BASED, PUBLIC-SECTOR AND UNIVERSITY COMMUNITIES, THE CENTER SERVES AS THE IDEAL PLACE TO REFLECT ON THE PAST, TRANSFORM THE PRESENT AND INSPIRE THE FUTURE. IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING A TRANSFORMATIONAL NARRATIVE CONNECTING THE BIRTH OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT IN THE UNITED STATES TO THE GLOBAL HUMAN RIGHTS STRUGGLES OF TODAY, THE CENTER IS DEVELOPING THOUGHT LEADERSHIP TO EFFECTIVELY SERVE AS CONVENER AND CONNECTOR IN THE NATIONAL CONVERSATIONS WE FACE TODAY.
