"WE CARE" GRANTS HELP TEAM MEMBERS GET BACK ON THEIR FEET WITH BASIC NECESSITIES AND ARE INTENDED FOR USE BY THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE OTHER RESOURCES TO HELP THEMSELVES.GRANTS MAY BE AWARDED TO COVER EXPENSES RESULTING FROM A CATASTROPHE CAUSED BY A NATURAL DISASTER, NATIONAL EMERGENCY OR PERSONAL/FAMILY CRISIS FOR WHICH A TEAM MEMBER DOES NOT HAVE ADEQUATE FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND COULD NOT BE EXPECTED TO BE ADEQUATELY PREPARED THROUGH RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL PLANNING AND BUDGETING.TWO TYPES OF ASSISTANCE ARE CONSIDERED: 1. HELP WITH BASIC LIVING EXPENSES, AND 2. EXTRAORDINARY MEDICAL EXPENSES OF A SHORT-TERM NATURE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE.
