Our specific activities include providing services to help combat the homeless population in Greenville, Washington County, MS; provide transitional shelter for the needed as well as mental and emotional health and wellness activities; serve as a local food distribution site which will in turn provide opportunities for volunteers to participate in the services being provided; provide workforce training to the community; mentoring activities for youth in Greenville and surrounding communities with a strong emphasis on youth living in and around Washington County, MS while using a holistic development approach as the vehicle for improving the lives of not only these youth but the lives of all participants; afterschool extra-curricular activities in learning the fundamentals of character development and how they can be used in their everyday lives while at the same time helping them to develop an appreciation for a life of integrity and self-sufficiency with mentors be trained and assigned to work with these youth from the homeless population; help to prepare these youth for college via competitions where scholarships are offered; sponsor intellectual tournaments/competitions to develop these youth; maintain close contact with the youth of the program in all phases of their lives, i.e. family time, spiritual development, educational development, emotional and mental development, by providing sessions during our meeting times for them to work with professionals in these fields and mentors that encourage them to stay on the right path; employ an holistic approach to the development of each of these youth.
